Slamball is a new sport intermingling the skill of basketball, the speed and ruthless contact of football and hockey as well as the quickness and agility of gymnastics. The Slamball court is walled in with plexiglass creating slamball court boundaries similar to hockey. The basketball goals are surrounded by trampolines helpful for offense… and defense as goal tending is permitted. Slamball Game
I first found out about Slamball when I was eating breakfast the other day and my uncle showed me a newspaper article about the new game Slamball. It looked crazy and insane and awesome. I read about it and immediatly wanted to go play. Odd how that was the first time I had heard about the game of Slamball and then the very next day I was just sitting in front of the tv and low and behold the Slamball championship came on CBS. I watch it. It was sawweeeet! Slamball is the greatest game ever invented.
Apparently its like “bad news basketball” which was a game I played as a kid during recess which involved a basketball and basketball goal and from there we just made the rules up as we went. It usually ended with a tackle that led to a pile-on and wrestlilng match for the ball. It was also a great game. But Slamball threw in the genius suprise of trampolines. As if the sport wasnt great enough they allowed goal tending body checking and face offs. Take all the great bits out of every sport, smash them together and then you have Slamball.
